Universal Publishers and Promotions ("CMCTV Talent", "we", "us") is committed to making www.cmctvtalent.ca accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we follow the accessibility principles of Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

What we have done

• Added text descriptions (alt text) to meaningful images

• Used clear headings and a consistent page structure, so screen readers can navigate the site

• Checked that text and background colours have enough contrast to be readable

• Made sure the site can be used with a keyboard and works on mobile devices

• Labelled form fields so they can be read by assistive technology

Known limitations

Some content may not yet be fully accessible, including older videos without captions, some artist photos and portfolio images, and content provided by third parties. We are working to improve these areas.

Universal Publishers and Promotions ("CMCTV Talent", "we", "us") operates the website www.cmctvtalent.ca. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and message when you use one of our contact forms; and your account details if you register as a member.

• Information about artists: names, photos, biographies, videos and music that artists or their representatives provide for publication on the site, with their permission.

• Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time spent on the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

• Payment information: if you pay an invoice or make a payment on the site, it is processed by [payment provider]. We do not store your full card number.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your questions and booking or collaboration requests

• To manage your member account

• To present artists and their work on the site

• To process payments and invoices

• To send news and promotional messages, only with your consent

• To understand how visitors use the site and improve it

• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

3. Consent and email marketing

We send promotional emails only to people who have given consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@cmctvcanada.com.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers that help us run the site, process payments and send emails, including our website platform, Wix.com. They may only use it to provide their services to us.

• With our affiliated companies, CMCTV, EL Productions and Correio da Manhã Canada, to tell you about their programming, events and subscriptions, only where you have consented.

• When required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

5. Where your information is stored

Our service providers may store and process your information outside Canada, including in the United States. In that case it may be subject to the laws of those countries.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to make the site work, remember your preferences and measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings and our cookie banner. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Artists may ask us at any time to remove their profile and materials from the site.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

10. Children

Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Profiles of artists under 18 are published only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of www.cmctvtalent.ca, operated by Universal Publishers and Promotions ("CMCTV Talent", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Use of the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse it, including by attempting to access it without authorization, interfering with its operation, or sending spam or harmful content through its forms.

2. Member accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

3. Content and intellectual property

All content on the site, including text, graphics, logos, photos, videos and music, belongs to CMCTV Talent or to the artists and partners who licensed it to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, download, reproduce or distribute it without written permission from us or the rights holder.

4. Artist submissions

If you send us photos, videos, music or other material, you confirm that you own it or have permission to share it, and you give us a non-exclusive licence to publish it on the site and our channels to promote you. You may ask us to remove it at any time. Sending material does not guarantee that it will be published or that you will be booked.

5. Payments and invoices

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. Invoices are payable by the due date shown, and any refund terms are stated on the invoice or agreement.

6. Links to other sites

The site may link to other websites, such as artists' pages, music or video platforms, and partners. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error-free or secure. Artist information and availability may change without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CMCTV Talent is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

9. Privacy and accessibility

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information, and our Accessibility Statement explains how to get help if you have difficulty using the site.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
